Benchmark indices trade firm in optimistic tract

The CNX Nifty is presently trading at 8332.20, gain by 43.60 points or 0.53 Percent in the wake of exchanging a scope of 8322.25 and 8345.45. There were 36 shares advancing against 15 stocks falling on the index.


The top pickers on Nifty were IndusInd Bank gain by 4.95 Percent, Hindalco gain by 3.50 Percent, Tata Steel gain by 3.43 Percent, Coal India gain by 3.43 Percent and Yes Bank increase by 2.72 Percent.

On the flip side, TCS fall by 1.03 Percent, Bajaj Auto fall by 0.96 Percent, Cipla fall by 0.86 Percent, Tech Mahindra fall by 0.58 Percent and HCL Tech fall by 0.56 percent were the top falls.

Tata Motors increased 1.25 Percent after the organization said the Tata Motors Group worldwide wholesales increased 4 Percent to 95,081 units in Dec. 2016 over Dec. 2015. Worldwide wholesales of all Tata Motors' commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range dropped 5 Percent to 30,879 units in Dec. 2016 over Dec. 2015.
